  • Cleaning the Church – Tuesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am
  • YSA Softball – Wednesday, July 28 at 7:00 pm 2300 East 3300 South (Fields by Dan's Grocery)
  • Relief Society Welcome – Saturday, July 31 at the Stake Center

Emergency Preparedness Information

72hr kits: Here is the link to the list of items you should have in your 72hr kit. Please read through the list and identify the items you already have on hand. These should be gathered and stored in your kit. The items you are missing should be obtained, as you are able. Remember that food, water, and heat should be first priority.

- 5 items or $5.00

- Store what you eat. Eat what you store.

 

Home Storage: Miscellaneous

 

In addition to the major food groups, sugars, oils, and spices are needed for cooking. Pay attention to what you use in your daily cooking, as well as what would be needed for the foods you are storing.

 

Examples:

 

Sugars:

-           granulated sugar

-           powdered sugar

-           brown sugar

-           honey

-           molasses

 

Oils:

-           shortening

-           vegetable oil

-           olive oil

-           cooking spray

-           butter (Clarified butter can be stored on a shelf.)

 

Spices:

-           cinnamon

-           italian spices (rosemary, oregano, thyme, basil)

-           garlic salt/powder

-           onion salt/powder

-           season salt

-           salt/pepper
