• Ward Prayer – Justin Brown’s at 8:30 pm 2846 East Apple Blossom Ln
• FHE – Conference Talk at 7:00 pm – Justin Brown's at 2846 East Apple Blossom Ln
• Ward Temple Night – Salt Lake City Temple, Tuesday, July 28th at 7:00 pm for session and 8:00 pm for baptisms
• Service Opportunity – Clean the Church Tuesday at 7:00 pm
  
• YSA Sports – Kickball - Wednesday at 7:30 pm, 2700 East 4500 South This is more "unstructured" than the soccer league (more like dodgeball)- you don't need a team to participate - just show up and we will put you on teams, and at the end of the night - there will be the "championship game" with everyone. This activity will be EVERY WEDNESDAY for the next 6 weeks (and then softball).

• FHE – Hike Mary, Martha and Catherine at Brighton – meet at 7:00 pm at the church or at the main parking at Brighton at 7:30 pm
• Service Opportunity – Clean the Church Tuesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am every week this month

YSA Sports: Kickball

First off, we want to congratulate Canyon Rim 5th ward and Winder West 14th ward who WON the soccer tournament!!! They are now the proud holders of "the rock" trophy and team treat bags - the next ward to win softball will take over this treasure...!

YSA COED KICKBALL

Starts next Wednesday, July 22nd at 7:30 on the same field where we played soccer (2700 East 4500 South).

Remember those days of elementary kickball?!? Well...this is going to be even BIGGER AND BETTER - mainly because you're a lot bigger and better!

This is more "unstructured" than the soccer league (more like dodgeball)- you don't need a team to participate - just show up and we will put you on teams, and at the end of the night - there will be the "championship game" with everyone.

This activity will be EVERY WEDNESDAY for the next 6 weeks (and then softball).

• Enrichment Night – Oquirrh Mtn. Temple Open House Tuesday, July 14. Meet at the church at 7 p.m. (plan to carpool)

Stake Sports: Softball on Friday

There are some stake adult softball games this weekend starting at 7pm Friday, July 10th. Yep, that's this Friday. Because of short notice we don't have a full team, but anyone interested in getting out the ol' mitt and swinging a bat should definitely come on out!! Practice for the YSA season that will be later this summer! There might even be some treats waiting for ya!!

• FHE – Movie on the Lawn - We are going to the Gallivan Center for a free movie on the lawn. They are playing "Rear Window" (which is an awesome Hitchcock movie with Jimmy Stewart) It starts at 8 so we will meet at 7:30 at the church to carpool. Bring blankets for the lawn. The 30th ward will do some kind of treats.

TOURNAMENT TIME!!!

The standings are in and the tournament is ON! (ok, the tournament has been going for a while, but these are the final games)

KICKBALL IS COMING YOUR WAY! After Soccer is over, we will be starting up Kickball – for all the skilled and unskilled sporty people out there – it is fun and easy, and doesn’t require extreme knowledge of how to play – Just go back to your Elementary School Day’s memories and you will remember how much fun it is. Kickball play will startup on Wednesday, July 22^nd and we will get more details out after soccer – be sure to get incredibly excited.
