Weekly Activities: August 9 - August 15, 2009

This Week's Activities
  • Ward Prayer – Brother Bechthold’s at 8:30 pm
  • FHE – Miller’s Cabin up Millcreek Canyon – Meet at the church at 7:00 pm to carpool. The gate to the cabin is about 7 mi. from the mouth of the canyon and 3 mi. past Log Haven The cabin is at "The Firs". There is an entrance and exit gate and they are the only 2 gates on the Left hand side of the canyon road. The entrance is the second gate on the Left. We will close the gate but leave it unlocked so people can come up late if necessary. We will have signs posted leading to the cabin. Park on the canyon road if possible and it's not far to the cabin. Reminder - there is usually no cell reception up the canyon and I think its $3 per car to exit.
  • YSA Sports – Kickball - Wednesday at 7:30 pm, 2700 East 4500 South This is more "unstructured" than the soccer league (more like dodgeball)- you don't need a team to participate - just show up and we will put you on teams, and at the end of the night - there will be the "championship game" with everyone.

Upcoming Activities
  • Ward Ski Trip – August 20 – 22 at Bear Lake - $20 required registration fee add $10 if you would like to attend the play at Pickleville Playhouse Friday night due no later than August 17th at FHE.
