  • YSA Softball – Wednesday, August 11 at 7:00 pm 2300 East 3300 South (Fields by Dan's Grocery)

Upcoming Activities

  • Ward Temple Night – August 17 at 7:00 pm at the Salt Lake Temple
  • Ward Lake Trip – August 19-21 Contact Brady Newton (801.712.5363) or Katie Dreschsel (540.435.6856) for details.
  • Ward Temple Morning – August 28 at 8:00 am Baptisms for the Dead at Draper Temple
  • Service Opportunity – St Vincent's September 04 at 9:30 am

Emergency Preparedness

72hr kits: Here is the link to the list of items you should have in your 72hr kit. Please read through the list and identify the items you already have on hand. These should be gathered and stored in your kit. The items you are missing should be obtained, as you are able. Remember that food, water, and heat should be first priority.

Remember the Rules:

 

- 5 items or $5.00

- Store what you eat. Eat what you store.

 

Food Storage: Vegetables/Fruit

Remember to store a variety of fruits and vegetables, for best nutrition. Also, make sure it's something you like. If you don't like it, don't store it. If you're not sure, try it first. Canned or dried fruits and vegetables are the easiest to store.  

 

Examples:

-           peas

-           carrots

-           corn

-           potatoes

-           green beans

-           peaches

-           pears

-           fruit cocktail

-           raisins
